Global Day of Action for Gaza

Global Day of Action for Gaza

On Saturday, 6 September 2025, people across the world will take part in a coordinated Global Day of Action for Gaza. From city squares to government buildings, embassies, and corporate offices, communities will gather to demand justice, freedom, and accountability for Palestine.

This mobilisation follows the inaugural conference of the Global Alliance for Palestine (GAFP) on 26 July 2025, where delegates from over 25 countries and 65 organisations gathered in London.

Why We Are Mobilising

Since October 2023:

  • More than 62,000 Palestinians have been killed (at least).
  • Over 150,000 injured, with many more displaced or missing.
  • Food, medicine, and aid remain obstructed under siege.
  • Famine and destruction of critical infrastructure deepen the crisis.

This is not a war – it is a systematic campaign of genocide. Yet Gaza continues to resist, and we must rise in solidarity.

Our Demands

The Global Day of Action is not symbolic. It is a coordinated global mobilisation to demand:

  • A sustained ceasefire and full withdrawal of Israeli forces.
  • An end to the blockade that denies over two million people essential services.
  • An end to global complicity in Israel’s crimes through arms transfers, military cooperation, and economic ties.
  • Accountability for war crimes under international law.
  • Justice, freedom, and the right of return for the Palestinian people.

How You Can Take Part

On 6 September 2025 – and throughout the weekend (5-7 September) – we call on movements, organisations, and communities everywhere to join the Global Day of Action for Gaza. Every town, campus, and neighbourhood has a role in creating a worldwide wave of solidarity.

  • Protests, marches, and vigils
Organise gatherings in city squares, streets, or local landmarks. Whether a mass march or a candlelit vigil, every visible act strengthens the global call for justice.
  • Creative solidarity actions
Raise Palestinian flags from homes, schools, and places of worship. Hold cultural performances, art displays, or moments of silence. Use creativity to break through daily routines and demand attention for Gaza.
  • Amplify globally
Share your actions online with common visuals, slogans, and hashtags so that local events connect into one global movement.
