The Global Alliance for Palestine unequivocally condemns the Israeli and United States strikes on Iran this morning. This is a horrifying assault on a sovereign nation and a grave violation of international law.

This is not only about Iran. It is part of a broader pattern of imperial intervention that threatens the rights, safety and sovereignty of peoples across the world. When powerful states act with impunity, it endangers us all.

We stand firmly against any war on Iran and against the ongoing normalisation of violence carried out in the name of security. The killing of civilians can never be justified.

The world must reject colonial aggression in all its forms. We call on governments, institutions and people of conscience everywhere. No war on Iran. No to imperial intervention. Justice, sovereignty and human dignity must prevail.
