The Global Alliance for Palestine (GAFP) held its inaugural conference in London on 26 July 2025. The conference was attended by representatives from over 65 organisations across 25 countries, helping bring the GAFP initiative to life. Together, we launched a coordinated, global response amidst one of the most urgent human rights crises of our time. The conversations, connections, and commitments forged at the conference now form the foundation of a lasting, strategic alliance that we sincerely hope will only grow in the weeks and months ahead.
However, the success of the conference was only the first step.
Global Day of Action for Gaza – 6th September 2025
We are now entering a critical phase of implementation, and your continued engagement is essential. Our first major initiative is the Global Day of Action for Gaza on Saturday, 6 September 2025. This will be a key mobilisation moment, and we ask all organisations to save the date and begin planning accordingly. The Global Day of Action for Gaza will be an opportunity for unified action to mobilise mass pressure to end Israel’s ongoing genocide, lift the siege, and demand full accountability under international law. From peaceful demonstrations to digital campaigns and institutional advocacy, the day will showcase the power of coordinated international solidarity.
We are calling on your organisation to:
- Mobilise protests, marches, and vigils in capitals, major cities, towns, and communities.
- Use creative actions – banging pots and pans, raising Palestinian flags, observing a minute of silence for the martyrs, and engaging in other powerful acts of disruption and solidarity.
- Promote a united message through shared slogans and visuals
While Saturday 6 September 2025 is the main day of mobilisation, if your organisation cannot participate on that date, we strongly encourage actions on Friday 5 September or Sunday 7 September so your voices can still be part of this global wave of resistance.
Please confirm your organisation’s participation and share your planned activities with us as soon as possible so we can coordinate, amplify, and connect actions across the globe.
You can email us at info@palestine-alliance.org.
Interim Executive Committee
To ensure long-term impact, we have also established an Interim Executive Committee composed of experienced organisers from five continents. This team will guide the next phase of governance, communications, and global mobilisation. In parallel, we’ve launched our new digital platform at www.palestine-alliance.org – a central hub for updates, resources, and coordination across regions and sectors.
Conference videos
We are pleased to share with you edited recordings of the conference, including a highlight video. Please watch the videos and share them widely to your networks.
